Unique rear projection virtual window in a vaulted underground basement window space

Kinnarps they wanted to give their customers a unique visual experience in their basement showroom in Covent Garden, London. Working closely with the carpenters, we developed a wooden paneling with a mockup window aperture. We installed our DarkVue Rigid rear projection screen behind the paneling and projected scheduled images from a NEC ultrashort throw projector.

Update : If we did this again with todays technology, it would be a large format display linked to our GlobalCMS platform and a high def IPTV Camera feed direct in to the display, with a button selection for different camera feeds or scheduled dayparting so the content changes with the time of day 

Idea way to prevent S.A.D. in an office without windows . In Retail it could be used to link up feeds from other stores or live catwalk shows etc
